Transcript of HubBub Monthly Email Updates
June - 2009
Welcome to summer - finally! Got off to a cold and shaky start there didn'
it?
Well, June just hasn't seemed like June until today, so here's the June
Update...
For all who haven't seen her, we have our new puppy, Cassie. Cassie is
a Eurasier and more information can be found about her breed on line.
Probably one of the most helpful sites is the Canadian Eurasier Club -
www. eurasiers.ca
We are requesting that you please do not bring your pets into HubBub
for the immediate future as Cassie still has not received her full complement
of immunizations and may be susceptible to any number of things at this
time. We are about a month away from her final round of shots.
We also ask that you approach her slowly and quietly - Cassie is very
friendly and not at all shy, but we are trying to train her to be in the
shop with us at all times and we need to have her away from the doors
when people enter and exit as well as not jump up on people. She is still
fearless about bikes so far, and we need to teach her to stay away from
rotating wheels. We also ask that you not pick her up and not wake her
up if she is sleeping.
You can see a great slide
show of Cassie (by our friend Michael) taken about a week ago at:

We are actually conducting business between housebreaking, feeding, playing,
and cooing over our puppy. With what appears to be a cooler-than-usual
start to the riding months, there is still plenty of time to have your
fit and order your custom bicycle. You can see two of our new creations
on our homepage (www.hubbub.com). And, if you would like to see yourself
featured on our home page, just send us a photo of you with your HubBub
creation and we will post it. Exotic locations are always appreciated,
but kind words are even better!
Our Seven V-II carbon bike is ready to test ride. It is stunning. We
also have our small Seven Axiom steel, medium Axiom Ti, and are about
to rebuilt the large Axiom Ti. All rideable demos.
Keen cycling sandals are in stock for both men and women. So far, they
are getting a 10 from everyone who is using them.
We're seeing a lot of sunburned arms, legs, and faces! We HIGHLY recommend
Aloe Up's Pro Sport SPF30 sun block. It is now available in a spray can
as well as 1 ounce and 4 ounce tubes. HIGHLY water resistent - so it stays
on.
If you are planning on riding PVG (and
we hope you are!) please remember to reserve your hotel room sooner rather
than later. Also remember that ther is a 150 rider limit this year.
I have uploaded a new
blog entry today.
Once a week, the yoga studio is home to an interesting music program
for youngsters 0-5 years old. Music Together is having a free demo class
this Wednesday, June 10th at 10:15am if you'd like to find out about it.
Go to: sing and
swing for more info about the organization and its programs. Or contact
Jen Woda, director call
her 216-632-8522.
Remember that we have lots of Ohio Bicycle Events calendars, many ride
and race flyers, and list other events on our calendar.
Have a great day.
