In 2000, Brian and Diane met Dick & Betsy Jones when they came to HubBub to purchase a Co-Motion S&S Coupled tandem to expand and continue their passion - long-distance, self-supported bicycle touring. A short bio of them and their adventures appears below.

Presentation Description:

Betsy and Dick Jones have ridden self-supported bike tours in eight different European countries. Austria was one of the more spectacular ones. After flying into Munich, Germany they biked through Fussen, to visit King Ludwig’s castle, rode on to Innsbruck, Salzburg, and finally cycled back to Munich.

On the tour they climbed several magnificent passes, visited Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest, and took in the culture of Salzburg.

On March 1, from 1-3 pm, the Joneses will show slides of this wonderful trip. Hope to see you at the presentation.
