2007 PVG COMMENTS (TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM SURVEY SENT AFTER RIDE - UNEDITED)

Great job. we took a shortened loop Sunday since we had family plans. We had a wonderful time overall. We really appreciate the flexibility and casualness of the event. Thanks, Dave A

We had a blast. We did ten sun salutations on a little secluded beach about a mile east of the lodge after the ride with the surf in the background. We loved the whole weekend. sorry we didn't interact very much. Tandem teams can be sort of self contained.

This was my first two day bike tour and I enjoyed it very much. The lodge was great, the hot tub was especially nice after riding. I would have like to have talked to more riders.

I love having a relaxed, fun ride that is not too tough. I wish there was a shorter option for Sunday.

The ride is great; routes are fun and well marked - the lodge is very relaxing and very nice; makes for a wonderful getaway weekend - the wine is superb :). This year's tee was awesome (love that purple!)

I'm a guy, purple T shirts? Let's get some manly colors, maybe even some camouflage gear.

Love the views, the roads (Except the gravel), the bridges, the wines!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Will strongly urge my daughter to ride with me next year enjoyed it very much

too many gravely roads on Saturdays long ride. There should be a 100mile option.

Need slightly shorter ride or ride options since it is 2 days.

While I do a couple other organized rides throughout the year PVG is the one I look forward to most. It is the perfect time of year. I make a four day weekend of it, riding from home and back. It's my vacation for the year. I like the social aspect of it alot, including the after party on sunday. I enjoy finishing the days ride and sitting in the sun with a glass of wine and friends, or walking by the shore before the sun sets. While I don't know if it is by your choice, but the number of riders seems good. It's not to big. The lodge is nice, strangley unrustic but very comfortable. The petpetual wedding machine is amusing. The ride is challenging enough, and the countryside is nice. I can't think of anything you don't provide that I need. I would have done morning yoga had it been offered. I hope to see you next year.

I thought it was a great ride, but would have liked to have had lunch where we had dinner on Saturday night, so I could have seen more of the vineyards.

It's a chance to see an area of the state that we don't always get to. Except this year when we came back the following week and saw all the bridges and at least 5 wineries.

the wine taste was weak

The gravelly roads are out of your control, of course. Just wanted to "wine" a bit....

To be honest, it is nice for couples. It is a relaxing way to spend a weekend together. We really enjoyed everything about it except we keep getting crummy rooms at the lodge. I guess they don't like me for some reason. Next year I hope to do it on a fixed gear, then ask me about the route.
