Diane and Brian – When I noticed the testimonials section on the website, I realized that I have never really given you one. And you deserve one richly.
I now have over 10,000 miles on my Seven Alaris, and it just keeps getting better. The ride is comfortable, control fabulous and its dimensions fit me delightfully. And Brian, the wheels you built are as precise today as when they were new. I worried that I would buy an expensive bike then lose interest in cycling, but now I believe that this bike is a big reason that my interest in riding has continued and grown.
Thanks for helping me acquire a truly wonderful bike.

First, let me apologize for not writing sooner, as I've been trying to think of a witty way of thanking you (never did come to me) for the wheels you built for me. The short time you spent with me tweaking my bike, talking shop and just plain bullshitting was enjoyable and educational. We are very fortunate to have such caring and knowledgeable shop owners in our area. I rode the century option of the Hancock Horizontal Hundred without a single mechanical problem and was 30 minutes under my time goal. The wheels performed flawlessly and I felt fresher and more energetic after this ride than I did on a 50 mile training ride. The difference was the fit and not having to worry about my wheels.
Once again, thank you so much and you can look forward to supplying me with a Seven when I can talk my lovely wife out of the funds.

The weather hasn't been great but I finally got few miles on my new SEVEN. I truly love the way this bike rides. I never imagined that it would be this much better than my Y-Foil. Your design was perfect. The bike fits under me like we were born as one. Thank you so much for your expertise and the time you spent with me discussing what I wanted the bike to do. I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome. I feel my first century coming as soon as the weather breaks in the spring. You guys are the best.

Hi Diane,
I was in a 50 mile fundraising ride yesterday. It was called the "Ride for the Performing Arts", to help support the ballet and other musical groups, too.
I rode my Waterford 1150 with some guys that were, on average, 10 years younger than me, all riding new Aluminum racing bikes. By mile 40, I still felt great and could lead the group at 18-20 mph for a
good 1 or 2 miles while they were all starting to show the signs of strain. I honestly believe that the relaxed, steel geometry was what kept me fresh. I really enjoyed it!
Y'know its funny, back in Cleveland Heights, I couldn't go on a 5 mile ride without seeing another Waterford. Now, even though I'm right nearby the factory, I hardly ever see one. All I see are Treks and Lemonds. I wonder if it is because of Hubbub. You thinking of relocating here maybe?

After picking up my bike from your shop I took it out for a quick 13 mile ride. It rode like a dream! I LOVE the results of the fitting and tune up you did! Thank you for doing such a great job! The next ride I did was 30 miles. Typically I would have had soreness in my upper back, neck and arms. After your fitting, I was able to relax and sit properly on the saddle for the first time! I felt much more comfortable and was able to put all my energy into pedaling for a change. Also, when I asked for suggestions on how I could get a couple more climbing gears with a different ratio, you gave the best solution! I didn't know anything about a compact crank and was considering a triple, which would have been more expensive. It ends up the compact crank was the best solution for me. I'm having much better overall results with this gear ratio. I'm very happy I came to your store!
Not to mention you guys treated me great, listened to what I wanted, and left me smiling. Thanks so much!

Diane and Brian,
After putting almost 200 miles on my new bike, I can now officially give my review. It's everything I wanted, and more.
The fact that I put 200 miles on it in April is proof enough. I haven't logged 1000 miles in one year on my bike in close to a decade. Putting in that many miles during April (a miserable, cold snowy April at that) is proof of how much I'm enjoying riding. I hope to eclipse the 1000 mile mark before June (weather permitting). I have been on my bike almost every sunny day so far.
I didn't experience the annual "breaking in my butt" to bike riding experience. I just rode and when I was done I was happy! No more being probed by aliens! I didn't know that was possible! I'm also comfortable on the drops! Being 6' 4" has always meant that additional suffering was necessary to go fast by restricting my breathing and bending my back into positions that some might consider torturous. I can't believe that riding in the drops now feels good!
Interestingly enough, the first person that I tried to pass on my new Superbike turned out to be a Seven owner as well! Kate (from Loreal, you'd know her) and I shared a nice ride and she didn't even complain about my wheezing during my first climb out of the valley for the year! So I can't give much feedback on climbing yet until I lose a few pounds, but I know that it's easier now that I can breath in several different positions on the bike. The Seven has brought back the joy of cycling and I crave sunny days to get out and enjoy it.
Thanks so much!
-- Dave
